Insurance Bad Faith and ERISA

For many years, Mr. Appelman has represented insurers and claimants in claims involving insurance coverage and bad faith insurance practices. He has extensive experience working with claims staff in investigating and defending these cases. He successfully represented a national insurer in a highly contested first-party property insurance and insurance bad faith case involving an office building. He has experience handling the litigation of environmental claims as well. Mr. Appelman has represented both insurers and claimants in connection with health and life insurance claims decisions under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
